I created underwater themed illustrations for the restored building of the Children’s Hospital of Buda located in Budapest. I strove to represent the topics of healing and recovery without them being too overbearing on the drawings. I aimed to create likeable characters and use humour to ease somewhat the difficult situations children in this hospital find themselves in. The drawings were then painted on the walls of the hospital by volunteers.
